Tonight, I put a three weeks notice in at Kohl's. That's right. May 15, 2010, I will no longer be subjected to the whims of a consumeristic, huge, oppressive, for-profit, deceptive retail store ever again. I feel a blog post about my experience at Kohl's rising within me to be posted in the near future...;)


In other news, I love my customers.


Misses customer at Kohl's: Hey miss, where da queen size?
Me: *hesitation* you mean queen size mattresses?
Customer: *laughs hard and points to self* No, I mean queeeeen size! What do you call it? Plus size?
Me: Ohhhh. Right this way...*blushes and laughs with customer*

-listening to Damien Rice, "Empty"
-drinking Caribou coffee my momma got for me :) It tastes delicious. Thank you.
-regretting how late it is and how little I have done.
-regretting that I couldn't attend Chris Hamilton's recital because Kohl's sucks up my life.
-attempting to write my Modern Political Philosophy midterm, which I am actually enjoying, though I wish I had more time.
-deciding whether I want to be an English Literature or Humanities major. (I have to decide before midnight tonight)
-posting this blog so I can move on with my to do list, which unfortunately never ends.
