Many of us have those moments when we find ourselves without a camera, unable to capture a moment so interesting, exhilarating, or simply priceless. So why not capture these moments in writing?
It's easy, just start out by writing the phrase "This is a picture I did not take..." and continue with your priceless moment forever lost except in memory (and writing, of course).
This is a picture I did not take…
Of a very old man who stood up from his seat and took off his hat to an old woman approaching, the woman gave him a hearty smile; they kissed on the lips, the room was bustling with people but between their smiles the room was empty, it was just he and she joined together in embrace, and they sat down together, a classical piece playing in the background; they were all dressed up, like a picture right out of the 1930's.
